Joanne has been an integral part of our operations since it’s opening in 1991. She has over 24 years experience in mortgage brokering and lending. Knowledgeable in all aspects of the company, from bookkeeping to collections, to brokering and lending, from shareholder reporting and business development, Joanne is the wheel that keeps our operations running smoothly. Joanne also reviews, underwrites, and recommends mortgage applications. She follows the file from receipt through to funding. Joanne is a member of MBABC ( Mortgage Brokers Association of BC).
Cheryl Kirstien, Credit Manager
Cheryl has been heading our credit department since joining us in 2010. She has accumulated over 15 years in finance experience. With a strong background in sales and customer service, Cheryl suits the position well. Cheryl also reviews, recommends and underwrites mortgage loan applications. She follows the file from receipt through to funding. Cheryl is a member of MBABC.
Kim Fuhrer, Administrative Assistant
Kim joined our team in 2011 to tackle the job of administrative assistant to both Cheryl and Joanne. Kim brought with her extensive bookkeeper, clerical and property management experience. She keeps our office running smoothly in all areas of office administration.
Tom joined the company in 2011 and brings a very successful 30 year career in consumer finance and investment banking. Tom’s career began with Avco Financial Services Canada Limited, then Royal Trust, Beneficial Financial Services Ltd and Citi Financial Canada Ltd. Tom held several key positions including operations management, asset recovery, underwriting, risk management, marketing, human resources, business development and sales coach. Tom is a member of the Mortgage Broker Association British Columbia. When not working, Tom is an avid hockey player, golfer , mountain biker and volunteer to many.
